Heidi Kaloustian is a writer and visual artist.

She holds an MFA in fiction from the Iowa Writers' Workshop, where she served as the Fiction Editor of the literary journal The Iowa Review. She has been the recipient of numerous awards and honors for her writing, including a Robert J. Schulze Memorial Fellowship for a first novel and a Kresge Fellowship in the Literary Arts. 

Her chapbooks and mixed-media collages have been exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit, The Art Book Review, the Los Angeles Contemporary Archive, and elsewhere.

She is currently at work on a novel. Born in Michigan, she lives in Detroit.
